Floating Gong Meditation
"You are a valuable instrument in the orchestration of your own world, and the overall harmony of the universe.” Suzy Kassem
Come experience the feeling of being cocooned in our aerial silks!
Clear your mind and deeply rest your body while you slip into a state of blissful peace. Enjoy grounding breathwork and guided meditation surrounded by the soothing waves of sound from several gongs and chimes while you relax in a one-hour floating savasana. Indulge in a bit of self-care that will leave you feeling rested and completely centered while floating weightless and at ease.
The gong is one of man’s oldest therapeutic instruments and is used in yoga, sound meditation, and vibrational therapy from the distant past to the present. Gong meditation is an ideal tool for stress reduction, stimulation of the glandular system, and serves as a facilitator to break up emotional, physiological and spiritual blockages. Sound and music are nutrients for the nervous system and due to its nature, the gong resonates all 30 trillion cells of the body simultaneously in a most powerful and effective way.
Participants are encouraged to dress in comfortable clothing and bring anything that will allow them to find the greatest comfort. This may include a favorite blanket or warm fuzzy socks. No experience is necessary. Come with an open mind, ready to unwind through the vibrations of sound! There will be no inversions practiced during this meditation.
Two 60-minute sessions are offered, 2:00 PM & 3:15 PM.
Registration is limited to 8 participants per session.
