"By taking care of myself I have so much more to offer the world than I do when I am running on empty." [Ali Washington]
Self-care should not be deemed a luxury. It is the foundational principle for emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
In the midst of a wildly overpacked & busy life, we invite you to come as you are and take time to enjoy deep relaxation through two hands-on experiential modalities. Essential oils as an emotional, brain, body, and spirit care-outlet, supports a healthy mind which aids in supporting overall health within the body. Our goal is to educate you on the current evidence-based research for essential oils in mental health and support you in making essential oils a practical part of your self-care routine. Upon completion of the workshop plan to leave with a stress-reducing rollerball to enhance your emotional well-being.
Participants will also be introduced to Vibrational Sound Therapy (VST) through exposure to therapeutic-grade singing bowls designed to balance, regulate, and soothe the nervous system easing such effects as chronic stress, anxiety, and depression. Bowls will be gently struck with a felt mallet to produce their unique vibration and sound and moved around each participant. The ambient tones induce a deeply relaxing experience while the subtle vibrations from the bowls offer a gentle “massage” to the cellular tissues of the body. Because the therapy bowl is doing all of the physical work, contact is kept to an absolute minimum as we are eased into a nurtured state of mindfulness and well-being.
We are thrilled to offer these two modalities together as they build beautifully on each other. This multi-layered approach will help you walk away with usable tools for managing the stress of everyday life and help you focus on improving the current state of your well-being. We hope you will join us!
