My personal wellness journey began definitively in the fall of 1999 when a colleague introduced me to the play of Tai Chi. It was a beginning love affair that led me to experience a deep connection to the breath. Ultimately this awakening called me down a path of discovery with Hatha Yoga, Vipassana Meditation, Buddhism, working with singing bowls, Kundalini Yoga, Yin Yoga, Shinrin-yoku, Usui Reiki, and Vibrational Sound Therapy.
Looking back, I can see how each practice... each modality, supported, encouraged, and greatly enhanced the other; establishing a direction that would ultimately be my compass while navigating significant life challenges like trauma, depression, and cancer. These lasting explorations instilled a passion within me to actively pursue daily balance and healing in my life and to look at additional ways to nourish the body, mind, and spirit connection.
