At Gentle Earth, we understand that life's demands and circumstances may not always allow for in-person sessions. That's why we're delighted to offer Distance Reiki—a wonderful option for those unable to attend hands-on sessions, whether due to illness or residing in a different location. Reiki energy, being unrestricted by time and space, can be transmitted to individuals, animals, situations, or places with ease.

What to Expect During a Distance Session:
Clients often report diverse experiences, such as feeling a peaceful and relaxing sensation, tingling or vibrations in specific body or chakra points, increased energy, or a sense of relaxation similar to post-massage. Emotions and memories may surface, leading to a natural release like crying. Some recipients may not feel anything physically, but rest assured, the energy is always received by the body as long as the person is open to it.
Scheduling a Reiki Distance Session:
Gentle Earth schedules distance appointments as seamlessly as in-person sessions. Sessions are available during regular business hours, and accommodations can be made for urgent needs outside of this schedule. If you require a session after hours, please contact Betty to discuss availability and set up a specific time and date.
Reiki distant sessions are offered in 30 or 60-minute durations, with each recipient receiving a follow-up email after the session. To secure your appointment, all sessions must be paid for at the time of scheduling.

In preparation for our upcoming time together, we kindly ask for your cooperation in ensuring a smooth and effective Distance Reiki session. When scheduling your appointment, please provide specific details such as your location (including time zone) and the particular areas you wish to address. Additionally, sharing a current photo and any background information you are comfortable providing can greatly enhance our connection during the session. While this is not a requirement, it can contribute to a more intimate and personalized experience. Please rest assured that during your session, my focus will be entirely on you, and Reiki energy will be sent throughout our entire time together.
PREPARING FOR YOUR REIKI DISTANCE SESSION
As you prepare for your distance Reiki session, consider that "space" is multidimensional, encompassing the body, mind, and spirit. Take a few moments to care for all three aspects before the scheduled healing time. This preparation need not be lengthy, but dedicating a few minutes beforehand can significantly enrich your Reiki experience.
Treat this time as you would a meditation or yoga practice. Seek out or create a peaceful environment—whether outdoors in the sun, in a designated meditation space within your home, or in a serene spot in your garden. Ensure the space is comfortable and supportive taking into consideration the temperature and by wearing loose, nonrestrictive clothing. Consider using cushions, blankets, and an eye covering to enhance your inward focus. Crystals, essential oils, or incense can contribute to creating a special atmosphere. Soft and relaxing music, such as my Sound Healing Series, can also be enjoyed. Remember to silence electronic devices, creating an uninterrupted space solely for your well-being.
TIME FOR THE SESSION
Prior to the beginning of our scheduled time, aim to be fully situated in your chosen space at least 10 minutes in advance. Allow your eyes to soften, take deep, slow breaths, and signal to your body that relaxation is imminent. Perform a simple body scan, identifying areas of tension and encouraging release. Focus on the sounds around you, letting thoughts come and go without attachment. This time is dedicated entirely to you, so let your healing and preparation reflect your unique needs and desires.
STATE YOUR INTENTION
At the commencement of your Reiki distance session, state your intention to receive the healing energy being sent your way. Trust that whatever you need is reaching you at the perfect time. For those new to Reiki, maintain an open mind, embracing limitless possibilities. Avoid preconceived notions about when or how the session will begin or progress. Reiki operates with intelligence and always works for your Highest Good, irrespective of physical sensations during the session.
FINISHING YOUR SESSION
Following the session, if possible, remain relaxed for an additional 10 minutes. Slowly reintegrate into full awareness, taking deep, slow breaths when ready for a gentle transition. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, especially if there has been energy movement. While you can resume your normal activities, be compassionate and kind to any emotions or sensations that may arise in the hours following the session.
Reiki distance sessions offer a delightful way to experience the harmony that arises when mind, body, and spirit are balanced. Regularly scheduled sessions can amplify this sense of well-being. It's essential to recognize that one need not have a specific ailment to benefit from a Reiki session.
