It might be safe to say we are all feeling a collective heaviness as we sit at the feet of an uncertain future. For many, usual coping mechanisms for dealing with worry, stress, and anxiety have flown out the window over these last few weeks.

Let us help you manage this time of unease with a 1:1 private client appointment virtually from the comfort and safety of your own home. 30 and 60-minute sessions are being offered to help soothe and calm the worry and anxiety surrounding the current global health crisis. Enjoy breathwork, guided meditation, and of course the beautiful sounds of the various instruments of Gentle Earth Sound Therapy. Nurture your body, mind, and spirit while staying connected and feeling deeply supported.

Sound has been utilized in various cultures for thousands of years as a tool for maintaining overall health. It supports us in moving from a place of imbalance to a place of balance, peace, and harmony. Our body, mind, and spirit always want to be moving in a direction toward equilibrium, yet we often have too much outside stimulus which can drastically impact our well-being. (Yes, we are talking about you world news and COVID-19.) 

 

As we experience sound therapy, muscles lose tension within the first minutes; breathing and heart rates start to slow down as the body begins to soften and relax. The slowing of respiration and lack of muscle tension are both signs that stress responding hormones are beginning to decline and level off. This relaxed state allows the body to repair itself instead of responding to outside concerns; science clearly proves that the immune system is at its best when we are relaxed. Sound therapy is so gentle and nurturing that many recipients fall asleep at some point during the session. All appointments are personalized and tailored to the needs of each client.

These sessions are not booked like our other offerings. Please e-mail us directly so we can review current appointment possibilities. Sessions are offered through Google Duo, Zoom, Facetime, Facebook Messenger, Google Hangouts, and Skype and are available in Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific time zones.

Additional Information:

Once your appointment is fully reserved and your preferred choice of video interaction has been established, please make sure that you have the appropriate program/application downloaded on your desktop, tablet, or smartphone. For apps that require it, we suggest that you create a user profile and practice logging in a day or so before your appointment so that you have time to become familiar with the program and troubleshoot any possible connectivity issues. We ask all clients to treat this time together just like a private appointment at our studio, please arrive for your virtual appointment in a timely fashion.

When preparing for your session, select a quiet area of your home where you can quietly rest without distraction for the duration of our time together. Gather any items that will aid in your complete comfort beforehand, like a pillow, blanket, bolster, or eye pillow. We HIGHLY suggest using headphones for optimal sound quality during this interaction. Aromatherapy can be a soothing and supportive addition to your appointment and we encourage using 100% therapy grade essential oils in a diffuser or inhaled directly from the bottle. Try single oils like lavender, frankincense, rose, ylang-ylang, bergamot, German chamomile, lemon balm, jasmine, cypress, clary sage, vetiver, lemongrass, geranium, and helichrysum. doTerra essential oil blends Balance and Serenity, or Young Living blends Peace and Calming and Stress Away are also highly recommended.
